One of the things that the groomer can do is trim your cat's or dog's nails. You can take your pet to the groomer and they can express the anal glands for you, which means you aren't dealing with that noxious fluid. Your groomer may give your pet a bath after expressing those glands just so that your dog or cat doesn't come home with anything leftover from their impacted anal glands. You may want to set up a regular appointment with your groomer to have the anal glands expressed as part of your pet's regular care. That's because once an anal gland is impacted, they tend to get impacted over and over.
